Snowy Hydro’s Snowy 2.0 project is set to be postponed by a further 12–24 months to 2028. The company announced that it had revised the delivery timeline for the project, and causes of the delays include a lack of skilled labour and the complex design of the project.

Investment: Part of a $1.7bn investment
RWE Renewables Europe & Australia, a subsidiary of German electric utility RWE, has won a competitive tender in New South Wales, southeast Australia, to build a 50MW/400MWh battery energy storage system. The battery will be installed next to RWE's 249MW Limondale solar farm.

Ørsted and Eversource have announced that the construction of ProvPort offshore wind hub is underway in Rhode Island in the US. The companies will invest $100m in the project, said to be the largest investment in the offshore wind supply chain, with local labour unions leading the initiative.
